Cinema Roadmap

Target

To produce two shorts and a feature.

How To Accomplish?

While each self-contained production will stand on its own merits, the logistical complications will increase each time. Therefore, the first short will take place in a self-contained set that is easy to control, the second will present a significant lighting challenge and will be shot on location (that will be reasonably easy to control), and so on. The idea is to slowly build a team of people that can work well together in increasingly demanding situations.

The Path

Shoot on a controlled set with a small cast.

New Shooting Challenges

Step Two
Summer Story (Short)

Shoot on a reasonably simple location with two actors.

Step Three
The Twenty Six Paces (Three Scenes)

Three scenes from the feature, each with actors who only appear in their own scenes and so can be treated like three shorts.

New Shooting Challenges

Step Four
The Twenty Six Paces (Feature)

The remaining scenes for the full-length feature.
